With a look behind the facade, the lecture will highlight current trends and developments in facade materials. Functional high-tech facades as well as new system structures and surfaces will be shown. The excursion will be rounded off with tried and tested, traditional materials which, through new processes or creative use, demonstrate that facades can do more than just dress a building beautifully.
